Remarks The Morgan 31 is a compact but robust blue-water cruiser designed by Angelo Lavranos and first built in 1978. It’s well deserved reputation as a budget cruiser makes it a still much sought after design. It’s a masthead sloop with long-keel hull, offering good directional stability and offshore capability. With relatively heavy displacement and ballast in the encapsulated full keel, it has a comfortable and seaworthy feel. The interior is surprisingly roomy for a 31 foot boat, featuring a well laid out saloon, chart table, and galley with full heads. This example is sold in great condition with the hull and deck gelcoat still unsprayed. It comes with a comprehensive inventory and is SAMSA category A certified.
