She was fully stripped to a bare hull, sandblasted, new paint system inside and outside, new wiring and new plumbing was done. A Russian master carpenter was used to refit the interior using solid Teak, Cherry and Holly woods. New Lewmar opening portlights throughout as well as all other equipment being replaced during the rebuild i.e. bilge pumps, electrics, lighting, cooker etc. She has beautiful classic lines with a Teak cockpit and Teak on steel decks. She was relaunched re-launched in 2020. Pimpernel is based at the Royal Cape Yacht Club. The current owner is looking for a 50% partner in this blue water boat which has it's base in Cape Town. The owner will consider a 100% sale at R1,650,000.
